New Moths Found on 10 June 2007
Forward to 30 June 2007
moth page, back to 20 May
2007 moth page, to general moths page.
A lovely weekend after some very variable weather indeed.
The trap
was infested, cockroach-like, with Heart
& Darts plus the following worthy of photographs:
- a Privet Hawk Moth
(previously photographed here),
- a Light Emerald (previously
photographed here),
- a Setaceous Hebrew
Character (previously photographed here),
- a Flame (previously photographed here),
- a Treble Brown-spot
(previously photographed here),
- a Mottled Pug (previously
photographed here),
- an Uncertain or Vine's
Rustic (previously photographed here),
we
think
an
Uncertain
on
this occasion as it has better defined
markings,
- a Large Nutmeg (previously
photographed here),
- a Large Fruit-tree Tortrix
(previously
photographed
here),
- a Riband Wave, one with a
particularly dark band (previously photographed here).
Also in the trap were a Bee
Moth, a Bright-line
Brown-eye, a Common
Wainscot and Scoparia
pyrallela. We also saw an Underwing but it flew-off
before we could determine what sort it was.
