Moths Found on 13 July 2003

These are the fruits of our third use of the moth trap, by which time we'd purchased a digital camera to take good photos of the beasties.  We're particularly proud of the Poplar Hawk Moth pictures.  The other catches were:

• Swallow-tailed Moth,
• Scalloped Oak,
• Riband Wave (with central band and without central band),
• Grey Arches,
• Double Square-spot,
• Common Quaker,
• Dot Moth,
• Heart & Dart,
• Bright-line Brown-eye,
• Common Footman,
• The Flame,
• Stenoptilia/Platyptilia.
