Chocolate Tiffin

Chocolate tiffin all wrapped up

  1. Soak the fruit in booze overnight, agitating occasionally if you can to make sure it all gets soaked.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water, or put them in a bowl and apply 1 minute bursts of microwave half-power, stirring well betweeen bursts, until melted.
  3. Stir in the fruit and finely crushed biscuits.
  4. Tip out into clingfilm, roll up into a sausage and put in the fridge.
  5. Keeps for 1 month in the fridge (yeah, right like it lasts that long!) or 3 months in the freezer.
