Currywurst Sauce

Note: to be served with bratwurst.

Serves: 6.



  1. Warm the tomato ketchup at a low heat in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the bicarbonate of soda and stir well until the ketchup returns to looking like tomato ketchup again.
  3. Mix in the other dry ingredients.
  4. Dissolve the stock cube in the boiling water and add to the saucepan.
  5. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Serve beside bratwurst.
