Rob is a Welsh electronic engineer with no out-of-control beard (anymore). |
Interests include science fiction, beer, moths, marine aquariums, lizards
(and therefore locusts). Work is basically a hobby. He and Alice were
married in Hawaii on 25 November 95.
He has worked for British, Japanese and American firms, but most enjoyable
was the 10 years spent at TTPCom (a leading supplier of cellular modem
technology) until the Americans bought it and broke it up. He's since
started Qasara with a band of guys who simply don't want to be under the
direct control of others any more.
Since early 2009 he and Alice have been separated but they remain a family.

Alice was born in Sheffield and went to University in Birmingham where she
met Rob. |
After graduating, she worked with computers in London; first for the CEGB
cum National Power, then for a firm of solicitors.
Her current job is as housewife, mother and school dinner lady. She also
does some voluntary work at Leo's school and a local nursery school.
Alice spends her free time reading fantasy & science fiction, gardening,
line dancing and attempting to breed locusts. She is also a member of
twitter.
