Rob is a Welsh electronic engineer with no out-of-control beard
(anymore). |
Interests include science fiction, beer, family stuff, moths, marine
aquariums, bearded dragons (and therefore locusts). Work is basically a hobby.
Following an eight year engagement
he and Alice were married in glorious Hawaii on 25 November 95.
He has worked for large British, Japanese and
American firms, but most enjoyable was the 10 years spent at TTPCom (the
world's leading supplier of cellular modem technology) until the Americans
bought it and broke it up.
He's now started up a small business with a band of
guys who simply don't want to be under the direct control of others any
more.

Alice was born in Sheffield and went to
University in Birmingham where she
met Rob. |
After graduating, she worked with computers in London; first for the CEGB
cum National Power, then for a firm
of solicitors.
Her current job is as housewife and
mother. She has found the hours are longer but it's a lot more fun. Hazel
and Leo are much
more responsive and generally less
frustrating than PCs.
Alice spends most of her free time working for the PTA at Hazel's school,
but she still enjoys gardening and reading science fiction & fantasy when
she has the time.
