Forward to 3 July 2004 moth page, back to 6 June 2004 moth page, to general moths page.
Didn't pick a good night unfortunately - cool and windy, though it didn't
actually rain. That said, got a nice snap of a Snout.
As on 6th June,
Heart & Dart was in the majority, but there were also a fair number of Scoparia
pyralella
(note that this species includes the wonderfully named Scoparia ambigualis, so I can't say I'm
certain about the identification). We got a better picture of a Scoparia
pyrallella on a subsequent
weekend. Also ran's were a Dark Arches
(below), some Double
Square-spots, a Common Quaker
and a Shears.
