New Moths Found on 7 August 2004

Forward to 1 May 2005 moth page, back to 1 August 2004 moth page, to general moths page.

Another perfect mothy night.  The Common Footman population has dropped to one, but loads of Scalloped Oak, Yellow Underwings (both large and lesser), Riband Waves, several Straw Underwings and lots of Oak Beauty Aggs (could be Great or Pale, I'd plump for Pale).

Only three pictures worth posting - an Oak Beauty Agg, a Pyrausta aurata and a Marbled Beauty.  Thanks to Angus T. for help with the identifications.
