A sweltering weekend with the temperature up to 30 C before 10:00 this morning. It was
too hot to even stand still around the trap and most of the moths were warmed-up
enough to fly off immediately. The selection in the trap was similar to
the previous catch including a sample each of the impressive Elephant
and Poplar
Hawk-moths.
