The mid summer weather continues with temperatures in the upper 20 C. As well as the loads of Riband Waves we had an unusually large number of Oak Beauty Agg and Stenoptilia/Platyptilia in the trap.
Others worth photographing in the trap were:
a newcomer in the form of the Common Carpet,
a sample of Clepsis Consimilana (previously seen here),
a few Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwings (previously seen here),
a Cabbage Moth (previously seen here).
